Had a lovely 2 nights here, the rooms are modern and clean and at a very reasonable price. The hosts were incredible - very attentive and happy to help. I was picked up and dropped off which was helpful. My favourite part was the food, lots to try and big portions which was amazing! Also lots of things to see (Mihintale & Old Anuradhapura City) which was all arranged through the Homestay at a very good price. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay after a day of sightseeing.

We had such a lovely time at Ceylonima Homestay! The owners Mapa and Kandchi are absolutely amazing. We cooked together with them and the food was amazing. We also enjoyed a tour around the city with Mapa which was really nice. Would definitely recommend this stay at this warm family.

Ceylonima Homestay is a wonderful place to stay when in Anuradhapura. It‘s a little outside the city center, but Mapa picked us up and dropped us off at the local bus/train station for free. We even got to use their scooter to get into town for sightseeing. Mapa also arranged a driver/tour for wilpattu NP to which he drove us with his car, both for a fair price. In the evenings we got to help his wife kanchana cooking typical sri lankan dishes, which was an exceptional experience where we learnt a lot. The dishes were outstanding, the price great. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were well equipped and comfortable and new. We really felt like home here, mainly because the hosts are such warm-hearted and friendly people who love to show their country and tell interesting stories to their guests. Thank you so much! Highly recommend!

Ceylonima has been one of the best experiences during my entire Sri Lanka trip! The homestay itself is super tidy, well equipped (AC, warm water, drinking water supply, battery charged light when power cuts etc.), very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Most importantly hosts' care taking has left huge impression on me. Mapa and Kanchi welcomed us so heart-warming into their home, made us feel so comfortable from the very first moment. Had great exchange about Anuradhapura's sights and history but also about general cultural characteristics. Part of the care taking was also Kanchi's cooking, we never missed a breakfast or dinner because her cooking skills are absolutely incredible!! Every day surprised us with a different dish, if you're keen she might even lets you dive into her kitchen and share some cooking procedure secrets. Even if you won't find time for it, she out her Youtube channel and bring her wholesome taste and lovely voice back to your own kitchen. Massive THANK YOU to the two beautiful human, making us feel so at home and sharing amazing memories. Looking forward to coming back. Recommending this place to everyone!

These people are the best in whole sri lanka. The cooking is so good and mapa took us with him all day and showed us anuradhapura town! The rooms are nice clean and there is everything you need! Pleasse go here, you will not regret it! Love from the netherlands

Highly recommended place (Home stay) at Anuradhapura .. Really satisfied with their service, courtesy and extremely friendly nature. Breakfast Food is delicious , room is very space and even good for family having 3 or 5 members and it has a very clean environment. Really worth for the price ! Parking available, good amenities like AC/hotwater. They provide extra services for foreigners , like initial pick up . Even they were so kind enough to help us to locate three-wheels near by. Really great service , surely you may feel like staying at your home. Last but not the least, we will surely visit again, if we go Anuradhapura.

The best home stay I ever visited. Though the homestay is little bit away from the city. It is a big advantage. The surrounding of the homestay is very quite with a very nice view from the balcony . The room is very clean and furnished well. The bed is very comfy . The bathroom is like a newly constructed one. Such a clean place. Just 10 minute to the old city and the temples. The owner organized us the trip to Mihintale and the Anuradhapure and old city. The most important things is about food. I had the breakfast and the dinner , they are all delicious .😋 If you like you can help them a cooking . It would be great experience .😀 I highly recommend this place for visitors who comes to Anuradhapure .🙂

Kanti and Mapa, the owners, are extremely good hosts. They helped us with everything we needed. We had a lot of lovely chats. Kanti is the best cooker ever! We had breakfasts and dinners. One morning we left early for a trip, and she sent us with sandwiches, fruits and tea for a take away. Mapa has a great knowledge about everything! The rooms were very tidy, clean and comfortable. Very recommended!! An authentic true sri lankan experience!!! מומלץ בחום!! חוויה סרי לנקית אותנטית!

The family was very nice and helpful, the owner gave important tips for traveling around this Area and in the morning he welcomed us with a delicious breakfast. The rooms have everything,they are clean and big. you can feel like a family member here. It rained at night and we couldn't go out to eat, so they surprised us by preparing dinner for us which was very sweet, and they called us to see if we had arrived at our destination when we left the house.
